Trip to Field Museum

There are some places in this world where you learn a lot about history, and about world and museum is the best place to know about everything. There is never a doubt that Field Museum is one of the best place to go with family or friends in Chicago. There are a lot of places in Chicago and most of the people they come from different states to explore Chicago and Field Museum is one of them. It is always busy and it's really big too.

I went to Field Museum with my class friends. We had a project to explore this museum and to learn about things and taking pictures with strangers. We had our class till 11:00 am then we all met in the hall of college to be in one group so we can take our next step towards museum. We walked to Red line station which is not that far from college, we took our train from Lake and we got off at Roosevelt. Then our walk begun towards museum. Our teacher Ms. Jaccqy made group of 5 people and we had app in our cell phones to take pictures and upload it to that application.

It was a free entry for all Illinois residents, so it was so busy but still Field museum is so big that I still found empty places. All of our class we entered the museum and then we started our missions. We split up and we taught it will help us to complete first. Almost all of our missions were taking pictures with strangers, some people didn't mind it but some people did. It was really tough because all of our missions were on the different corners of the museum. This is how I explore museum and completed my missions too.

There are a lot of sections for a lot of things such as Insects, Wild life, Sea life etc. It was really a good experience, I have never seen these ancient things before although I have seen these things in a lot of movies but this was the first time I saw it life and it was so beautiful. We divided our missions as we split up so we had to do five and our other group has to do five. We were two in one group so we were doing so fast, we were running to take pictures and complete missions. It was a competition between 5 groups.

We completed our 5 first then we met rest of our members so we can complete all of them. It was really hard to find all of them we had to be really sharp and look out for everything. We saw a lot of ancient stuff like Native American clothes and Egyptian lifestyle. Egyptian lifestyle back then was really different if we compare it with today. History of Egypt is really intersting as they are the one who introduced unique thing to this world "Pyramids". There clothing and everything was so different and antique.

View from Field Museum is breathtaking. We viewed Chicago Downtown from there and it looked very beautiful. These days who believe in Dinosaurs? Nobody does but people believe that they were in this world earlier but who know about it. One of the best section where we saw a lot of structures of dinosaurs. We had to take picture with stranger in almost every section of museum.

We were the first one to complete all the missions and that was the plus point for us. It was a good experience to explore new thing and to know more about history, so this was one of my best school trip after that I went to some more sections which I haven't seen because they weren't the part of our missions, but still I know I haven't seen everything.

In conclusion, these trips and missions are part of your life. This is how you make memories and you get knowledge about things as you're young, so you are able to explore as much as you can. You have to be educated in this world and the time you are young is the time you learn. Everything got it's own time, so explore as much as you can. Museums are the best place to know about some things you just watch in movie but you can know about them in real life.

My Field Trip.

You can only explore the world when you are young and everyone loves to travel and for travel you need power. This is the first I had a field trip to explore Chicago Shedd Aquarium with my class mates. It was really exciting for me because I am new here and I want to know about this place and this is lucky that I got a chance to explore this place for free with my class mates and teacher. Shedd Aquarium is very famous and best place to know about sea world in Chicago.

So we started our trip from our class room, It was very sunny day too. So at 11:00 PM we left college for Shedd Aquarium and our teacher guided us that what we have to do there and how can we get there. We walked from Harold Washington college to Red Line Station. We got on our train from Lake and we got off at Roosevelt, from there it was a walking distance to Shedd Aquarium. It was so hot but somehow we survived and reached our destination. As it was a free pass for all Illinois residents at Aquarium, for that advantage we have to wait in a long line for our number to get in. From Shedd Aquarium you can see the best view in Chicago and from there you can just tell how beautiful Chicago really is.

We waited for 20 minutes in line and then we entered Aquarium, first we took our group picture which was provided by Shedd Aquarium management. Then we walked to counter to get our tickets, we got a plus point to watch a Dolpin show for free too. There is no doubt that Shedd Aquarium is very beautiful and best place for a family trip too. It was our project to look for new sea creatures and to know about them. I know about some sea creatures that I haven't seen in my life.


Shedd Aquarium is really big and it will take a lot of time to explore it. There were a lot sections and they all were maintained. It was so crowded because of free Illinois Residents Day, first I from Caribbean Reef because it was the first section you can enter from main lobby then there were sections from there to other places like, Rivers. Lakes and Islands, Oceans etc. I discorved a lot of things that day and I saw how these sea creatures look like and how they live because all things were made according to the way they live so, it shows how they live.

These all sections were on first floor then I used elevator for lower level for Wild Reef, which was so beautiful and scary too. I have never seen a shark that close to me although I have seen them in movies and I know they are not friendly. There were not only sharks in that section but there were a lot of different species too. This is what I thought that shark lives alone and if any other kind will come close to them, they will kill them but this was not happening. There were two divers in that aquarium too, and that was so risky but they were not looking scared they were feeding them food and this was their job but still this is risky, you cant rely on anyone atleast not SHARK.

I went to see Stingray, stingray were looking friendly as everyone was touching them and playing with them but I don't want to die, If  you know about what Stingray can do to you then you will never do that mistake in your life and as I said you can't rely on anyone. If you know about Steve Irwin that what happened to him and how did that then you will never do this thing again. Stingray is very different.

Then I went back to first floor to check again if I have missed something on this floor but I have seen everything on first floor, one section smell so bad where monkeys and different animals were so I walked out quickly from that section I didn't waited there for long. I was so tired so I took a little break and sat on a bench for five minutes. Then I went at the back exit where restaurant was and from there it was more beautiful and breathtaking view.

Then I saw something that I have never heard about before. Sharks, turtles are too mainstream but I have never seen or you can say I have never heard about Spider Crab. Not even in movies, I can suggest that if anyone wants to know the real meaning "Beauty of Nature" then you can see this creature. The most different creature in Shedd Aquarium. I have learned some things in life that you will need in future. If you are taking a look at anything and it looks scary to you just realize someone can see YOU like that too. So this is nature and this is GOD who created it. Octupus is one the beautiful creature but it's not friendly, Now I can say that I have seen Octupus right in front of me.

 

In conclusion, I can say just enjoy this life because YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE. Enjoy the beauty of nature because Nature is really beautiful. Explore as much as you can till you are young the day you will get old you think you can do all these things? NO. You can't recall your time and everthing has it's time so you have to live it, enjoy it, make memories. You will never get good experience everytime because not everyday is sunday so you will face some diffiulties in life but you don't have to give up, fight back because this is LIFE.
